About the Instructor:
Bill Russell graduated from Parsons School of Design, and began a 30+ year career as an illustrator, designer and painter. He was a staff artist at the San Francisco Chronicle and an Adjunct Professor of Illustration at the California College of the Arts. He works in a variety of styles and technologies using traditional and digital media. He writes about Illustrated Journalism here.
